Story

The Brand Builders Fund Campaign Story

Across the country, women of color are building powerful product-based brands, but many are doing it without the access, funding, mentorship, supplier relationships, and retail education needed to grow at the level they deserve.

Many of these founders are creating quality products, serving their communities, and carrying big visions, yet they are often left out of the rooms where major opportunities happen. They need access to capital, retail readiness training, procurement education, global supply chain connections, product placement support, and business development resources that can help them scale beyond local markets.

After successfully supporting product-based entrepreneurs through retail accelerator programs with major brands like Walmart and Target, we saw the gap firsthand. When those programs ended, we made the decision to continue the work ourselves. That vision became Girl Com, and it has now grown into a national community with chapters in Atlanta, Charlotte, Washington DC, Dallas, and Houston.

Now, through our nonprofit arm, Girl Com Global Corporation 501(c)(3), we are launching The Brand Builders Fund to raise $1,000,000 to support entrepreneurs, programming, grants, scholarships, team development, and national expansion.

Our Vision

Our vision is to build a national ecosystem where product-based entrepreneurs of color have the education, exposure, funding, and relationships needed to compete locally, nationally, and globally.

Through Girl Com, Bro Com, and Girl Com Global Corporation, we are creating spaces where founders can learn how to become retail-ready, understand procurement, access funding, connect with global supply chains, and build sustainable businesses that create generational impact.

This is more than an event. This is a movement.

We are building a bridge between community, commerce, corporate partnerships, global trade, and economic empowerment. Our goal is to give emerging product-based brands the tools, access, and support they need to grow, create jobs, enter new markets, and build lasting wealth.

The Girl Com Mission
